Dougal's Jumper

The story so far ....

Dougal’s Jumper are a Celtic Folk Band based in the North of Scotland, playing a mixture if their quirky songs and some foot-stomping tunes.

Their debut EP, ‘The Way I’m Wired’, gained airplay throughout the UK, Ireland and further afield, including on several BBC Radio stations.

In 2019 they were chosen as one of the four bands from across Scotland to be part of the Hands Up For Trad ‘Battle of the Folk Bands 2019’ at Celtic Connections in Glasgow.

Dougal’s Jumper have played on the Danny Kyle Stage at Celtic Connections and  have also appeared at the Islay Festival Final Fling, the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival and Speyfest.

Other performances have included the Speyside Whisky Festival, Jocktoberfest, live sessions as the house band for Moray Firth Radio's breakfast show.

Dougal's Jumper's music has been played on radio stations from Fort William to Hawaii and many places in between.

Their self-filmed videos have helped attracted an enthusiastic on-line following, whilst their home-produced music continues to gain airplay on radio stations including BBC Radio Scotland.

In 2025 Dougal's Jumper will be recording their first album!
